Plights of Hindu’s in Pakistan
An appeal was made to Vipul Mistry, the secretary of SPAUK, from Ameet Kumar who is one of the associated members of a non government organisation that is looking after the welfare of Hindus in Pakistan, The Hindu Sudhar Sabha, based in Pakistan. They lobby the government on issues facing Hindu’s.
You may or may not have read that Hindus are facing a real hardship and starvation as they are not getting any form of food and essentials delivered to them, just because they belong to the Hindu faith. Food and essential items are being given to the Muslim community and openly denied to other minorities. This sort of discrimination at this moment of the COVID 19 pandemic is utterly regrettable. Our Hindu brothers and sisters are facing starvation and as a result some have died. At this present time in India most organisations are supporting the PM cares cause, which is fantastic. But there is an issue in Pakistan whereby our own people are suffering and continue to do so.
This was a humanitarian case and SPA (UK) made a small donation to Hindu Sudhar Sabha so that they can purchase food and other essentials for our brothers/sisters who continue to get persecuted. Around 18 families have been supported for the next six weeks.
